Thank you to all who attended and supported An Intimate Evening With Friends!  We are grateful to Toby Keith, Albert Pujols, and all of our wonderful volunteers who made the evening so special!

On December, 3, 2015, hundreds of attendees were present for our inaugural  fundraising event, themed 'An Intimate Evening With Friends.'   The program featured a discussion with Don Mattingly and special guest Albert Pujols, led by Wayne Hagin, former MBL broadcaster, followed by a musical performance by country music artist Toby Keith. 

The event was held at the University of Southern Indiana Performance Center and included a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items to benefit Mattingly Charities.

VIP ticket holders were given the opportunity to take a professional photograph with Don Mattingly, Toby Keith and Albert Pujols, preferred seating, and access to a private reception before the program began.

Toby Keith is a country singer, songwriter, actor and record producer, who has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.  He has released over 25 albums and has charted sixty-one singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including twenty number one hits and twenty-one additional top 10 hits. 

Albert Pujols is currently a first baseman for the Los Angeles Angels.  He previously played 11 seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals, with whom he was a three-time National League MVP and nine-time All-Star. He made his 10th All-Star appearance with the Angels in 2015. 

He is also a six-time Silver Slugger who has twice led the National League in home runs, along with  With fourteen seasons of 100 or more RBI's produced.

In 2005, Albert and Deidre Pujols launched the Pujols Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to their commitment to faith, family and others. The organization promotes awareness of Down syndrome and works to support those who have it and their families, aids the poor in the Dominican Republic, and supports people with disabilities and/or life-threatening illnesses.
