Five-time all-star Bernie Williams will join Don Mattingly for "A Bronx Reunion" to benefit Mattingly Charities in Evansville on Jan. 9.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Tropicana Evansville, 421 NW Riverside Drive. Tickets range from $150 to $300. Promoters say the event will include "great food, a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items, and stories from Don and Bernie."

Silent auction items will be listed on www.handbid.com beginning Dec. 1. Tickets for the Evansville event are available at MattinglyCharities.org.

Only 250 tickets will be sold, with VIP tickets available that will enable attendees to get a professional photograph with Williams and Mattingly, preferred seating and access to a private reception.

Mattingly Charities helps "underserved children by supporting programs which promote youth development," according to the group's website.

Williams and Mattingly were teammates for five seasons with the New York Yankees, from from 1991 through 1995. Williams won four Gold Glove awards and four World Series championships during his 16-year career in New York. He retired following the 1006 season.

Williams is also a classically trained guitarist with two albums to his credit.

Mattingly, an Evansville native, was the 1985 American League Most Valuable Player. He played in six All-Star Games, won nine Gold Gloves and won the 1984 AL batting crown. He currently manages the Miami Marlins.
